VISUAL / GRAPHIC ARTISTS:
Interested in adding your creativity to the next World Rhythm Festival? Festival Art will be used for the t-shirts, poster, program, schedule flyer and website. The selected artist receives acknowledgement in all print media, and on the website for the entire year.

ART GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENTS

a. The art's most important job for the Festival is to be an attractive t-shirt that participants will want to buy.  The art needs to have spirit and beauty.
b. Consider shirt color(s) as part of your color palette -- they will be chosen accordingly.
c. In keeping with the Festival's most important value of diversity, a variety of cultural styles should be included or implied, as should both drumming and dancing.
d. The words "xxth Annual," "[YEAR] World Rhythm Festival" and "swps.org" should be included.
e. Once the basic art is approved, we will also need a banner graphic that includes the DATE and "Seattle Center".
f. Use up to 3 colors, plus black and white.
g. A version using 1 color + black will be needed for the Festival program.
h. If your art is selected, you will need to submit final art in a high quality digital file. The art should also look correct if scaled to smaller sizes (200 x 200) used for the web.
